Design Transforms is a lecture series from the Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design programme at Central Saint Martins, where expert practitioners are invited to share their thoughts on the idea of transformation examined through the lens of their work.

Christina Galvez is a design researcher who focuses on asking questions, listening to people, and helping cross-functional teams design products collaboratively. She has worked across industries ranging from automotive to social media, exploring what people need and how to translate those insights into products and experiences. Christina began her career in theater set design, an unexpected starting point that nonetheless shaped her perspective on creating experiences and considering viewpoints beyond her own.

Christina will share what design research looks like in practice, how she found her way into the field, and how others might discover their own unexpected paths.

Please note that this event will be documented. Images and videos of the event could be used by Central Saint Martins for marketing and publicity in publications or online.
