Design Transforms is a lecture series from the Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design programme at Central Saint Martins, where expert practitioners are invited to share their thoughts on the idea of transformation examined through the lens of their work.

Claudia Arnold is the co-founder and COO of Jelly Drops, a London-based startup creating sweets that support hydration for people living with dementia. Since launching in 2018, Jelly Drops has helped over 100,000 families.

A Design Engineer and Central Saint Martins graduate, Claudia began her career as an electronics assembler before working across the music industry in software engineering, database design, graphic design, and business development. She later completed an MA/MSc in Innovation Design Engineering at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, where she met Jelly Drops co-founder Lewis Hornby. Before Jelly Drops, the pair founded Pluvo, a startup tackling urban air pollution.

She will talk through the journey of founding and running a start-up, her career to date and how design can improve lives.

Please note that this event will be documented. Images and videos of the event could be used by Central Saint Martins for marketing and publicity in publications or online.
