Design Transforms is a lecture series from the Product, Ceramic and Industrial Design programme at Central Saint Martins, where expert practitioners are invited to share their thoughts on the idea of transformation examined through the lens of their work.

Hosted by Andy Law, Senior Lecturer in Digital Futures at Central Saint Martins, this event brings together Amanda Sim and Jeremy Philemon. Moving between perspectives shaped by design, technology, and making, the discussion will unfold through exchange rather than presentation.

Jeremy Philemon is a design engineer working across AI and open-source software. His practice centres on building tools that reduce information failure and support clearer ways of recording, understanding, and using data.

Amanda Sim is a Staff Designer on Google Gemini, working on AI-powered tools and multimodal experiences. Her background spans product, publishing, and architecture, with previous roles at IDEO, Strava, Chronicle Books, and Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects.
